During our two-week adventure in Rwanda, AFP students visited genocide memorials, orphanages, schools, refugee camps, villages, wildlife sanctuaries, cultural organizations, families and friends. They were then asked to digest these intense experiences and inject them into a three-day collaborative process with the Mashirika Theater Company where they were charged to create a completely original piece of theater. The name of this play is When the Walls Come Down--TRUTH. We are forever connected and indebted to Mashirika, our new theater family in Rwanda.
