Conference Admission: FREE
AFP2012 has successfully conducted three separate proposals rounds resulting in the selection of over 50 presentations/performances from genocide scholars, humanitarians, artists, social justice activists, educators, business professionals and university students supporting Embracing Responsibility from a variety of disciplines and perspectives. The Anne Frank Project prides itself on being an ACTIVELY ENGAGED academic conference. We ask that all conference attendees engage in hands-on activities to enhance their experience such as writing, artwork, performance, group problem solving or role play. Question/Answer periods and dialogue are valuable and important to AFP but will not be the only participatory element of each session.
In addition to standard presentations sessions (powerpoint, discussion, panel, etc.) attendees will experience multiple Performance presentations. AFP is proud to present theater, dance, music and spoken word that addresses our annual theme in creative, powerful ways. All sessions fill quickly and are first come, first serve so plan your conference schedule feel in advance.
The mission of The Anne Frank Project is to encourage communities to utilize the words and wisdom of Anne Frank as a starting point for the intense examination of genocide, intolerance, bigotry and racism as a means towards finding solutions towards an elevated and shared human condition.
